I'm an immersive media producer, virtual production director, and AI curriculum architect with over 20 years of experience in real-time media, interactive storytelling, and creative education systems. My work bridges extended reality (XR), generative AI, and cinematic design to build future-ready platforms for learning, simulation, and immersive entertainment.

I lead cross-functional teams of developers, artists, and strategists in building AI-powered learning tools, cinematic XR environments, and scalable content pipelines. My portfolio includes nationally broadcast documentaries—produced or edited for PBS, MTV, and Ken Burns—as well as AR/VR public exhibitions like the Juneteenth Legacy Project, blending immersive storytelling with civic and cultural engagement. I’ve also contributed to government-funded virtual production and simulation research in partnership with NASA and TEILab.

As a professor of XR and interactive media at Prairie View A&M University, I’ve developed and delivered over 30 university-level courses in real-time 3D, virtual cinematography, motion graphics, and immersive systems using tools like Unreal Engine, Unity, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Cinema 4D.

I hold a Ph.D. in Architecture (Visualization) from Texas A&M University, where my dissertation—The Avatar Effect—proposes a multi-layered framework for AI-driven cinematic pedagogy and adaptive curriculum design. This research has resulted in 39 modular invention disclosures filed through the Texas A&M Innovation Center. These span six interconnected patent families, including:

  • Adaptive Curriculum Generation Engines

  • AI-Driven Learner Profiling + Forecasting Systems

  • Narrative Simulation and Virtual Production Toolchains

  • IP Transfer + Content Translation Frameworks

  • Ethical AI Infrastructure + Feedback Protocols

  • XR Operating Systems + Interoperability Layers

Together, these 39 inventions form an integrated cognitive architecture for scalable, intelligent media systems—paving the way for commercialization across edtech, cinematic simulation, defense training, and immersive storytelling.

I also hold an M.A. in Film & Television from NYU and a B.S. in Journalism from Boston University. My work continues to fuse design, ethics, and intelligence—building the symbolic and technical infrastructure for the next generation of learning, culture, and creative systems.
